I’ve been looking for healthy easy meals and remembered how much we loved the acai bowls from a foos truck in Puerto Rico.
The only problem is that they’re expensive. A tiny bowl at the store costs $3.99. So, I decided to make my own. The only problem is that I couldn’t find any acai.
Instead, I blended frozen bananas and blueberries, added a dollop of plain yogurt, sliced strawberries, granola (next time I’ll plan ahead and make my own) and hemp seeds. Variations of this (including a tropical bowl) are in the foreseeable future.

I organized the pantry today and found some almost-expired oatmeal, apples I canned last year, and whole roasted almonds that will get chopped and added as well.
